Why not male tunics?

I have at various moments stated my fascination with single-garment clothing. (a thobe today, just being practical, envisioning with ai). Striking the right balances of fit and form is nearly impossible when the only item on the menu is the dress. Unlike skirts, there are substantial anatomical considerations. A garment that accommodates muscular arms and shoulders will be far too large everywhere else, thus unavoidably appearing disheveled and forced. Conversely, sleeveless garments are predominantly styled to accentuate breasts, thus undesirably awkward on a breastless torso.  Stature is a problem too: waistlines rise to the ribcage, hemlines rise to the upper thigh, and maxi never reaches the foot. So why can’t we have male-styled tunics? Tunics that express new ideas, not tunics that conjure old traditions. Black is so goth and/or ecclesiastic.

I want to see styles like these sized for my inverted-triangle frame:

And, of course, a more polished look (as designed with AI)
